Medical Ninjutsu is a branch of ninjutsu associated with healing, as well as the manipulation of their own, or another's body, practiced by shinobi categorized as "medical-nin". The use of medical ninjutsu requires very advanced chakra control, as well as extensive knowledge on such things as herbs, medicines, the human body and even poisons.
The knowledge of medical ninjutsu can be used for a variety of purposes apart from simply healing, such as creating and treating poisons to create a poisonous gas, performing autopsies or surgeries, or attacking a person's body directly, deranging the target's nervous system or sending them into a comatose state by overriding their body with chakra.
Requirements
Control (+2) and Intelligence (+2)
Rule Adjustments
-Basic Healing: You can make a Control roll against the amount of physical stress the character has taken to clear another character’s physical stress boxes +1. A character may only benefit from your ability once per scene.
Action Drawback- If the Medical Shinobi fails the roll they will take the difference in mental stress.
-Surgical Healing: Additionally, you can use Control to start healing any kind of physical consequence on a character, rolling against the current Consequence Slot Number (2), (4) or (6) +2. Doing so will drop the consequence by one severity as long as that slot is open. A character may only benefit from this ability once per session by any shinobi. Once the healing process has happened using Medical Ninjutsu it cant be furthered by anyone else.
Action Drawback- If the Medical Shinobi fails the roll they will gain a Consequence of that level as well.
